Mukarrab stood victorious in this conflict and he succeeded in establishing his sway over the Sultan. Now Saadat Khan conspired to enthrone Nusrat Khan, the younger brother of Tughluq Shah but at last Mukarrab murdered Saadat Khan. After this Mallu Khan joined hands with Nusrat Khan and he tried to capture Delhi on his behalf but he could not achieve success. Late on, getting an opportunity, he murdered Mukarrab Khan.
